How far in advance do I need to reserve my date?

Typically we book-up 6-12 months in advance. Reserve your date with us as soon as possible, remember, All Occasions only puts on ONE great wedding a day.

Does our deposit guarantee our day on your calendar?

Yes, we ask for a non-refundable $500 deposit then you are privy to our vast and outstanding wedding resources.

Do you know of any unique places for our reception?

We cater in some of the most exciting venues in Rochester & the Finger Lakes! Call us with your date and estimated guest count and we can help you find the perfect location.

Are you licensed, inspected and insured?

Yes, fully inspected and licensed for product safety. Fully insured for product and liquor liability plus ALL of our staff are covered by NYS Worker's Compensation.

How much does a reception cost?

The cost per guest depends on location, the menu and the number of guests.

Is there a charge for cutting the cake?

Absolutely not, that is the silliest "up-charge" we've ever heard!

Can you take care of china, glassware and linens for me?

Of course! There are many beautiful and unique options for table tops and we’ll help you choose the one that goes best with your vision. Once you make your choices, we’ll order and arrange for delivery of rental items. We also coordinate the set up the day of your event. You don’t have to DIY it! Can you take care of tent rentals for me?

A full range of styles and sizes are available from our rental vendors. We will coordinate those for you! Plus we give you a to-scale diagrams of your reception site so that you can better visualize your wedding before the big day .

Please explain the Planning Fee…

In our 20+ years of helping our wedding clients, we've accrued massive insights into the smooth flow of a reception. As an All Occasions client you will reap the benefits of all those years of experience! You receive a to-scale floor plan, a reception timeline, and, if you do not have a wedding coordinator, we will help you with photographers, bands and other auxiliary staff both before and during your reception. Plus, we have lots of seasoned advice on how to have a smooth event that begins and ends with YOUR goals in mind.

Tell me about your servers…

The next best thing about All Occasions, besides our glorious food, is our lovely, hospitable and "invisible" staff. Attired in crisp white jackets and black trousers, they are always ready to help with a smile! Please note: If there are guests with special needs at your event just let us know and we'll make sure they get extra attention.

Can we pay the staff gratuity on our final bill instead of at the wedding?

Absolutely! We find that our clients like the no-hassle way of dealing with gratuities. Gratuities are usually 12-15% of the menu and bar. We do NOT put tip jars on bars for private parties and weddings.

Can I make up my own menu or make changes in your menus?

Absolutely, we'd love to help you create a special menu! If you choose one of the menus from our website, you are welcome to make any additions or changes you prefer.

I have guests who are vegan, have gluten or lactose intolerance, require kosher meals - can you accommodate them?

Of course! We have a wide variety of gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and other special needs menu items. When we plan your event, we will discuss any dietary needs and suggest a menu that will be suitable.

Do you offer bar service?

Yes, we do! Call us for more information.

Can you provide bartenders for my party?

Yes, we provide bartenders for the parties we cater. Our bartenders are trained, professional, and just plain nice! We carry 2 million dollars in liquor liability insurance. As a general rule, you need to allow one bartender per 60 guests for beer and wine bars and one bartender per 35 guests for full bar service.

May we taste your food?

Our Executive Chef is happy to prepare a selection of our most popular menu items for your enjoyment for a nominal fee of $50 per person which is taken right off your bottom line when you book with us.
